“Movember” at Norsewear – 100% New Zealand Made Mo

MEDIA RELEASE FROM NORSEWEAR NEW ZEALAND LTD

1 December 2006

“Movember” at Norsewear – 100% New Zealand Made Mo’s

As the month formerly known as November draws to a close, Norsewear Chief Executive Robert Linterman says the iconic New Zealand manufacturer will be donating a dollar a day for each of the male staff members who took part in the ‘Movember’ charity event.

“This is our company’s way of showing some support for New Zealand men who have supported our products for years. I’m proud that Norsewear staff really got in behind the male health cause and Norsewear will be donating a dollar a day for each participant over and above the sponsorship money they raised individually,” says Mr Linterman.

“’Movember’ was a unique way of raising money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand to help improve awareness of men’s health. I did my best to lead the way though I am not sure how long my moustache will last into December. It’s been fun and all for a good cause,” he says.

“It is appropriate that like everything else we do at Norsewear our moustaches were all 100% New Zealand made. We are a home-grown company and the moustaches were grown on-shore to help change the face of men’s health in New Zealand,” says Mr Linterman.
