New Zealand’s Top Baristas Get Set For Final Showdown Tomorrow
Nine of New Zealand’s top baristas are gearing up for their final test at the 2006 NZ National Barista Awards being staged tomorrow at North Harbour Stadium. All nine competitors, having secured a place at the finals over the last five months, have been training anywhere between 10 and 20 hours a week in preparation for tomorrow’s competition.
Chris White,
Chief Judge, says “Tomorrow is the ultimate test for these
baristas. Not only will they win the title but they will
also go on to compete at the World Championships in Japan in
2007.”
