Golden Service Awards Celebrate Industry Excellence
Cleaning companies from around the country gathered to celebrate industry excellence at the fourth annual Golden Service Awards in Auckland.
Sponsored by Kimberly-Clark, the awards recognise and promote excellence among workers in the cleaning industry. Held in conjunction with the Building Services Contractors’ of New Zealand (BSCNZ), the awards are often referred to as the Oscars of the industry.
BSCNZ, the industry organisation association, was pleased with the high standard of entries this year. “It was reaffirming to see that our members are consistently producing high-quality results for their clients. In particular, these results are a testament to the employees working behind the scenes to ensure the standards are maintained,” says Brian Young, President of BSCNZ.
“The awards acknowledge the hard work and professionalism demonstrated by those working within the cleaning services industry. Our award entrants take enormous pride in their work and we want to share this enthusiasm by celebrating their achievements,” says David Stickland, National Business Manager for Kimberly-Clark.
The awards are judged on strict criteria, with all entrants undergoing thorough assessment on the nominated premises. The judges look at cleaning, health and safety, innovation, communication and the staff of the entrants, not to mention gauging the satisfaction of the client they work for.
