Jasmax’s Green Day Out addresses climate change

Climate change and environmentally sustainable design (ESD) is the hot topic being addressed tomorrow by New Zealand’s most influential construction industry leaders..

The inaugural Jasmax Green Day Out will discuss current thinking around ESD issues as well as current industry concerns.

The one-day intensive design event will give architects and designers the opportunity to work alongside leading industry experts to solve ESD issues for clients. It will extend participants’ knowledge of all aspects of the sustainable design process.

The Jasmax Green Day Out was created by head of the Jasmax ‘Green Group’ Marko den Breems.

He says delegates will gain greater understanding of current climate change issues and look at how innovative design can make positive, long-term change.

“Discussion between influential members of New Zealand’s construction industry will enable us to identify how ESD principles can be best applied in order to reduce the impact of how we inhabit this earth,” he says.

“Jasmax is committed to becoming the industry leader in environmentally sustainable design and to lead the industry by example.”

Presentations by ESD experts will provide information for incorporation in design solutions. The day includes a two-hour wrap-up session with a critique of the designs with particular emphasis on ESD issues and solutions.
