Interislander announces sponsorships in Marlborough and Wellington regions
Interislander will be announcing key partnerships on Wednesday (11 October), reflecting its commitment to support local communities in the Marlborough and Wellington regions.
The sponsorships include:
Picton New Years Family Fun: following on from the success of last years inaugural event, Picton residents will celebrate this New Years with a family fun day and entertainment culminating in fireworks at midnight, made possible by Interislander and Port Marlborough. The "Picton New Years Family Fun" event is expected to attract thousands, while raising funds for the Picton Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Rowing Central High Performance Centre, Blenheim: Interislander has signed a four year deal to be the official sponsor of Rowing New Zealand's Central High Performance Centre in Blenheim - one of New Zealand's elite rowing training centres. Interislander has long been a supporter of Rowing New Zealand and is now pleased to be able to get more involved in the sport on a local and regional level.
Wellington, Marlborough and Central Region Coastguards: a long time sponsor of Marlborough Coastguard, Interislander has signed a three year sponsorship extending its support to the Wellington and Central Region Coastguard. Interislander's sponsorship helps local Coastguards' improve safety out in the water and educate the community in safe boating practices.
The function will be held at Montana Brancott Winery, Blenheim from 4.00pm - 6.00pm.
