*** Liquorland Prime Minister Leads World in Suspending Diplomatic Relations With North Korea ***
The Prime Minister of Liquorland, Brett Wilson, this morning announced that Liquorland is suspending diplomatic relations with North Korea with immediate effect.
The move follows North Korea's testing of a nuclear weapons yesterday.
Prime Minister Wilson told media that North Korea "should spend less time blowing things up and more time sitting down and having a drink with the neighbours."
The Liquorland Minister of Trade added that despite Liquorland having no trading relationship with North Korea, it was imposing a trade embargo with immediate effect. "I've always wanted to impose an embargo," the Minister added, "and this guy's been asking for it for ages."
In taking these actions, Liquorland is leading the world in its diplomatic response to the North Korean nuclear test, just as it leads the world in the provision of quality wine, beer and spirits, Fly Buys, gift wrapping and home delivery.
Liquorland is an independent state somewhere near New Zealand. It's main exports are wine, beer, spirits and good times. Liquorland's main industry is tourism and its national bird is the roast chicken.
