Cock & Bull continues award winning streak
The Cock & Bull today continued their award winning run with an announcement that they have taken out top honours in a Vodka competition! Stil Vodka, a competitively priced premium brand from 42 Below, threw down the challenge to all bars & clubs across New Zealand to infuse some new flavours into their Vodka.
Spurred on by recent successes at the Brew NZ Beer awards, staff rose to this challenge developing a variety of infused vodkas from traditional Tropical Fruits, through to the more unique Christmas Pudding, and, Thai Green Curry flavours! The ultimate winner though was a Wasabi & Sushi infused drink which tastes amazing – who knows it could be available on a shelf near you soon.
This latest win comes hot on the heels of success on Friday night at the Hospitality Association of New Zealand Annual Awards. Cock & Bull took out two major awards - for Gaming at Botany, and for best Lamb dish. Lynfield Chef Raj worked his magic with a fusion of Indo-Fijian flavours to create a fabulous Pacific Rim Lamb Curry. The Beef & Lamb Marketing Board were very impressed by this dish. Cock & Bull Newmarket was also runner up in the Best New Bar category.
