As the second of three new branches to open in Auckland this year, we seeking to ensure that we are always in the right place at the right time for our customers."
Carrying a maritime theme in keeping with its waterside location, the branch will be the second to feature work from the celebrated artist Jeff Thompson, a work of art created from screen printed steel - Jeff's trade mark material, called Wash, Wake and Reflections - will hang in branch for all customers and passers by to see.
The new branch will feature an array of unique new design and sustainable development underpins all of this with 'Interface' carpet tiles, Resene Eco pains, and recyclable woven panels. Alongside with soft furnishings, lighting and signage along with Business Channel Sky TV installed to help enliven any wait times the branch is the height of customer friendly design. There is even a new space tailored to suit boardroom-style meetings, with audio visual facilities that will be available to customers on request.
New Branch Manager, Corey Sinclair, will be heading up the new branch following a successful career in personal and private banking. Alongside him will be a team of six staff, many of whom are making the move from other existing Westpac branches around Auckland.
Corey Sinclair said. "My team and I are all really looking forward to opening the doors to customers and providing local businesses and their own staff with the very best banking services, products and advice. And as a CBD resident myself I am particularly looking forward to further cementing my place as a member of the Auckland's growing city based residential community. "
