New director for Industry Capability Network

NZTE appoints new director for Industry Capability Network

07 September, 2006

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise has appointed Graeme Solloway as the director of its Industry Capability Network.

The Industry Capability Network assists New Zealand and Australian suppliers and manufacturers to win contracts that might otherwise go to multi-national interests.

The network is part of the Government's economic development agency, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), and provides a free sourcing service to match New Zealand and Australian manufacturers with projects being undertaken in both countries.

Mr Solloway replaces Howard Williams as director of the Industry Capability Network and will be based at NZTE's Wellington office.

Mr Solloway has worked for a variety of energy, telecommunications, and ICT companies, including most recently as manager of New Zealand channels at Telecom New Zealand International. He also worked for three years at TradeNZ in the mid-1990s.
