Telecom's "Photo Message Your Half-Time Order" newspaper ad is the NAB's July Newspaper Ad of Month Winner. The ad was created by Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland and media placed by Starcom. Judges agreed this newspaper ad used the medium well to involve the reader in connecting Telecom with rugby. July judges included Regan Grafton, DDB; Matt Simpkins, FCB; and Andrew Sims, Sugar.
The winning ad will be sponsored into 2007 Axis Awards, and the winning creative team, Toby Talbot and Steve Back from Saatchi, will receive $250 cash.
The ad will also appear in the "What's New" section of August AdMedia, and is now in the running for the overall Newspaper Ad of the Year and $10,000 cash prize.
