Outback and Forester limited editions launched
Subaru has introduced limited edition models of its crossover SUVs, (Sport's Utility Vehicles) the Outback Luxury and Forester Luxury.
The Outback Luxury is based on the Outback 2.5 litre model and adds full leather upholstery, tinted windows and power adjustable front seats for just $1000 more than the standard Outback 2.5.
The Outback Luxury is available in green with an ivory interior or in white with a charcoal interior and sell from $45,990. The extra limited edition specification is worth more than $3000.
The Forester Luxury pack is added to the Forester X model and includes alloy wheels, leather upholstery, sunroof, rear spoiler and tinted windows.
The Forester X luxury is available in silver, red or white colours and will sell from $37,990, a premium of just $2000 over the standard Forester X for more than $4000 worth of extra equipment.
Both the Outback 2.5 and Forester X Luxuries also come with rear parking sensors as part of the total upgrade package.
"These models provide the opportunity for buyers of new Subarus to get a car with specification similar to that which is usually only available on our top of the range models," said Chris Rickards, the General Manager of Subaru of New Zealand.
"They offer remarkably good value for money with several thousand dollars worth of extra specification for a much smaller premium over the standard model."
