Resignation of NZ On Air CEO
Resignation of NZ On Air CEO
NZ On Air Chairman Don Hunn has today announced the resignation of Jo Tyndall as the agency's Chief Executive.
Ms Tyndall has been on secondment to the Ministry for Culture and Heritage for the past year, leading its digital broadcasting strategy. She has been asked to continue in this role and has agreed, making it necessary for her to step aside as Chief Executive of NZ On Air.
Mr Hunn said Ms Tyndall had been an excellent CEO for NZ On Air for seven years, and her experience and skills would be missed. However the NZ On Air Board respected her decision to move on.
Mr Hunn said NZ On Air was fortunate that Bernard Duncan had agreed to continue acting as CEO for another three months while a recruitment process for a new Chief Executive takes place.
