UDC Appoints Tuohy to its Executive Team
UDC Finance has further strengthened its senior executive team with the appointment of Terry Tuohy as Head of Operations.
It is the latest of several key executive appointments by UDC, as it focuses on expanding its business and improving financial performance under the leadership of General Manager Malcolm Tilbrook.
Mr Tuohy, who held senior management roles at UDC before joining Toyota Finance in 2004, will be responsible for credit management, documents and settlements, asset management and collections.
“Terry has a wealth of experience in the finance industry and his appointment is a strong signal to the industry and our customers that UDC is focused on building on our leading market position,” Mr Tilbrook said. “It’s great to have him back at UDC."
For the past two years, Mr Tuohy has been lending and credit manager at Toyota Finance, where he was responsible for dealer and wholesale credit risk, collections and customer service.
“This appointment, combined with several others we have made in the past few weeks, leaves us placed strongly to build on our business performance at the forefront of New Zealand’s finance industry,” Mr Tilbrook said.
UDC’s other key appointments recently include:
- Glenn Tasker – Head of Auto and Intermediaries
- Matthew Richards – Central Regional Manager
- Jack Swinkels – Northern Regional Manager
- Quentin Quin – Auckland Regional Manager
- Jo Harrison – Head of Business Portfolio Development
