The winter blast that is currently hitting New Zealand is proving to be a boom for more than just home heating, snow skiing, and warm clothing retail outlets. While many site visits originate from overseas, Taylor says "the overall proportion of visits coming from within New Zealand has jumped significantly, thanks in no small part to the cold snap and the spiraling cost of electricity."
