Abracadabra and Magic in stick-on bra deal for another year
Even before Friday night’s National Bank Cup final, the Magic netball team have scored a victory by securing leading stick-on, strapless bra company Abracadabra as their official fashion bra sponsor for another year.
Synergies and benefits for the Magic and Abracadabra are obvious.
Abracadabra managing director Vivian Zhong said the Magic netball players were great role models for all women.
``I am honoured the Magic players want to buy into our product and we are more than happy to sponsor them for another year,’’ Ms Zhong said.
``They only wear our strapless bra for fashion-wear but I hope we can help give them a bit of magic in the final against the Sting in Hamilton on Friday night.’’
Magic captain Amigene Metcalfe received a special Abracadabra gift when she recently became the first player to reach 50 games for the Magic.
Abracadabra produce the country’s fastest growing no back, no strap, stick-on reusable bra along with silicone push-up pads and silicone nipple covers.
The biggest selling Abracadabra item is the stick-on, strapless backless bra that meets the demand for weddings, school balls, and parties or for everyday wear.
Zhong has sold more than 13,000 light self-adhesive bras and silicone bras in the last year.
Abracadabra light stick-on silicone bras are sold in 40 Farmers stores and all Bendon lingerie stores nationwide.
New accessories including the nipple covers and push up pads are also sold in Bendon lingerie stores and other leading lingerie and department stores since their launch in April this year.
``We are also planning to develop a special bra for women who have lost their breast due to cancer,’’ Zhong said.
```We want to be the No.1 brand in the self-adhesive bra and lingerie accessories in Australia, New Zealand and Asian market.’’
