Client Focus and Industry Expertise the Right Combination to Achieve # 1 Harcourts Commercial for Wanganui Man
For Release: 26 May 2006
Well known Wanganui property professional, Noel Mouldey has achieved the Top Commercial Sales Consultant Award for Harcourts New Zealand, 2005-2006. The award was announced at a black tie Awards Dinner concluding Harcourts' annual three day Conference in Christchurch with around 1,000 attending last week.
With nearly ten years in the industry, Noel joined Harcourts Wanganui two years ago when Harcourts Business Owner, Kevin Wakelin first opened the office. Having been born and bred in Wanganui, huge local knowledge and credibility has played a strong part in his career with Noel also believing his life-long background in architecture, building and development enables him to provide his clients with detailed knowledge of commercial property and developments. As a result Noel has for the past nearly nine years been a top real estate achiever in Wanganui.
Noel said Wanganui had enjoyed huge growth across all real estate sectors over recent years, adding, “Wanganui has been noticed and found” by commercial investors from primarily main centres like Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch who have been enjoying high quality returns.
He noted that “main centre investors” look at a range of provincial towns and said part of his role has been to build rapport and trust with investors in order to attract them to his home town. “I consider my role to be one of advisor and consultant to help people with their commercial investments, and gain their trust”. Repeat business and ‘word of mouth’ plays a strong part in his business with Noel emphasizing “if you look after your clients and do right by them, the sales will come.”
CEO of Harcourts New Zealand, Bryan Thomson, described Mr Mouldey as an example of excellence with a style and commitment to his clients both Harcourts and the industry as a whole was proud of. “Noel Mouldey runs his business with the fundamentals of best practice, putting the welfare of his clients first which results in confidence in his abilities and a very successful career.”
Second and Third Top Commercial Sales Consultant Awards went to Geoff Thorne of Harcourts Auckland City, and Bruce Woodhead of Harcourts New Plymouth who also achieved Third place last year.
