NZ House & Garden celebrates the magic of Mums for Mother’s Day
The May
issue of NZ House & Garden celebrates the magic of Mother’s
Day with a host of heartwarming features.
“We all need to take time out to celebrate the special mothers in our lives, and this issue is full of ideas to inspire heartfelt gifts and treats for her,” says NZ House & Garden editor Michal McKay.
In the latest issue stylist Sandra Kaminski demonstrates simple but beautiful ways of showing Mum you care, and Annie Oxburgh adds a floral touch to beautiful gifts. For those who fare better in the kitchen, Jo Wilcox fills Mum’s biscuit tins with a delicious selection of recipes, including handy tips for baking success.
In a bonus offer for Mother’s Day, NZ House & Garden readers can take advantage of a special one-year subscription rate of $80, saving over 25% on the cover price.
The May issue explores the home of Wellington artist Annie Hayward, and Judy Gilbert’s Great Barrier Island paradise, giving readers a sneak peek into some unique homes. Renowned chef Peter Gordon shares his take on the genus brassica – otherwise known as cabbage, cauliflower, and sprouts, and Master of Cheese Juliet Harbutt shares her picks for top New Zealand cheeses.
Other content includes a special feature on heating, with practical indoor and outdoor options for open fires, wood burners and solid fuel cooking ranges. And Mary Gilliatt, recognised as a world authority on all things to do with design, completes part two of her must-read guide to Oriental rugs.
The May issue of NZ House & Garden magazine is on sale from Monday April 17 and retails for $8.95.
