- CUISINE REMAINS NEW ZEALAND’S MOST-AWARDED FOOD

Leading food magazine Cuisine was recognised at the New Zealand Magazine Publishers Association annual awards with four wins and four finalist placings.
Cuisine won Designer of the Year Home & Food Category, William Chen; Journalist of the Year Home & Food Category, Ray McVinnie; Best Use of Photography/Photographic Feature (Tuscany), Kieran Scott; and Website of the Year .
Editor Simon Wilson puts the success down to several factors. “Cuisine stands out from the competition because it focuses on the best-quality local food possible, we have world-class editorial and design standards and our team of journalists, designers and photographers are all experts in their field.”
These accolades for Cuisine follow its recent success at the Gourmet Voice World Media Awards where it won World’s Best Food Magazine.
Success across the magazine spectrum was evidenced by Fairfax Magazines scooping seven awards in total, with the prestigious Overall Supreme Editor award going to Rebecca Hayter, Boating New Zealand Editor.
Boating New Zealand also came top for Best Magazine Special Interest Category and was awarded Editor of the Year Special Interest Category, Rebecca Hayter.
