Wild Bean Cafe Baristas Set to Showcase their Coffee Passion
BP Connect announced today details of the 2006 Wild Bean Cafe Barista Awards, showcasing the coffee-making skills of Wild Bean Cafe Baristas across the country.
During the competition Baristas from each of the 59 Wild Bean Cafe locations, vie for the Wild Bean Cafe National Barista crown, as well as the opportunity to enter the 2006 Robert Harris Barista Awards.
Scot Graham, Wild Bean Cafe Category Manager, says the Wild Bean Cafe Barista Awards are a chance for their baristas to apply their training in a competition environment.
“New Zealand serves some of the finest coffee in the world and New Zealanders can be assured of getting a great cup of coffee on the move at Wild Bean Cafes. BP Connect sees the Barista competition as a celebration of the great coffee their Wild Bean Cafes are known for serving.”

Wild Bean Cafe sites have the opportunity to enter up to three of their top baristas into the competition. The 12 finalists will consist of five regional winners, the next five best scores and two judges wildcards.
