Exclusive Membership of Real Estate Network

Exclusive Membership of World’s Largest Real Estate Network

29 March 2006

Harcourts International Ltd is further building its links as the exclusive South Pacific member of the largest real estate network in the world, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

This exclusive partnership was initiated two years ago, when Harcourts was invited to join what was then called RELO (Real Estate Leading Organisation), enabling Harcourts clients to have their properties marketed through the other 4,700 member offices in 24 countries for worldwide exposure. In 2005, the RELO network managed over NZ$550 billion dollars in sales worldwide.

Recently rebranding from RELO to Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, the organisation has also just launched its new Luxury Portfolio division. This came as a result of recognising they managed more $1million plus property sales than any other group worldwide with close to an extraordinary NZ$60 billion in sales last year. Harcourts New Zealand CEO, Bryan Thomson said this exclusive membership gives Harcourts clients a distinct advantage in the market when promoting their luxury property.

“Harcourts’ $1million plus listings which become part of the Luxury Portfolio website will be immediately accessible world-wide via this exceptionally well known global brand. Anyone looking for that level of property in this part of the world will be automatically directed to properties listed with Harcourts.”

Mr Thomson added, “With so much buying interest from overseas, and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World such a highly recognised and well-respected brand throughout Europe and North America, it was important for us to provide our clients with access to global marketing of such high quality and high volume. While many real estate groups have overseas links, anyone selling their property needs to be confident their sales consultant has access to international marketing of the highest calibre to ensure the best possible outcome.”
