RSA Security Strengthens Local Senior Management Team with Addition of New General Manager, Channels
SYDNEY, March 21, 2006 – RSA Security has strengthened its local senior management team with the appointment of Gavin Jarvis as General Manager, Channels – Australia and New Zealand. The appointment is effective immediately.
Gavin was previously Senior Account Manager at iPass, responsible for Australian and New Zealand corporate customers and channel partners. Prior to the three years he spent at iPass, Gavin was at Dimension Data for four years as Commercial and Product Manager.
He began his career as a technician in the Royal Australian Navy, where he earned a Diploma of Engineering in Electronic Systems. Specialising in the maintenance and support of command, control and surveillance systems, Gavin served 21 years with the Navy.
“Gavin brings to RSA Security an excellent mix of technical and business skills,” said Steve Terry, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand of RSA Security. “His experience with partners at iPass has prepared him well to oversee the further strengthening of our channels program – particularly as we build closer relationships with those partners who have committed to enhanced training and certification that will better support RSA Security customers.”
