February Ad of Month Winner

Click for big version

Nokia’s “So many features you’ll think it does everything” newspaper ad is the NAB’s February Ad of Month Winner. This well polished creative ad was created by Generator/Y&R. February judges included Josh Lancaster (MTC), Jamie Hitchcock (MTC), David Brady (FCB) and Tony Bradbourne.

The winning ad will be sponsored into 2006 Axis Awards, and the winning creatives from Generator/Y&R will receive 2 x $200 Ticketek vouchers to see a show or concert of their choice. The ad will appear in the “What’s New” section of March AdMedia.

The overall “winner-of-winners” for Round 1 is to be announced very soon. Round 2 will be launched in the next few weeks and promises to be a ‘bigger and better’ newspaper creativity awards, to rival the other media creativity competitions.

The NAB newspaper creativity awards (Ad of Month) exemplify the NAB’s commitment to excellence in the craft of print advertising. Innovative creative within newspapers is a powerful force that can deliver maximum reach faster than any other medium.
