Woosh again drives phone and broadband prices down
Woosh Wireless today announced it is further undercutting traditional fixed line phone services by offering phone and broadband packages for less than $50 a month as part of a range of new plans.
The new packages
mean Woosh broadband customers can get the phone service for
$20 per month, less than half the cost of a traditional
phone line.
Woosh now has the lowest priced broadband
offer in the market at $24.95 per month (for
200MB).
General Manager Sales, Service and Marketing Sandra Geange says that Woosh is able to provide this pricing as a result of the cost effectiveness of its technology platform.
“New plans include faster speeds, increased data caps or price reductions,” says Ms Geange.
“We expect strong demand in particular for our $49.95 phone and broadband package which is similar to the monthly cost of a Telecom phone line and voicemail service alone. Basically it’s broadband at no additional cost.”
Ms Geange says the phone kits are now available through Woosh retailers which include Dick Smith, Noel Leeming, Bond and Bond and Harvey Norman.
