NZ Consultancy firm expands its presence in Canada
New Zealand’s largest multi-disciplinary engineering, planning and architectural consultancy, Opus International Consultants has further expanded its international business with the acquisition of Canadian firm, Hamilton Associates.
Hamilton Associates, which is based in Vancouver, specialises in transportation and road safety engineering.
Kevin Thompson, Opus Chief Executive comments, “This latest acquisition which follows on from an earlier acquisition completed in 2004, gives us an expanded Canadian presence, with three offices in British Columbia, one in Alberta, and another in New Brunswick on the eastern seaboard.”
Opus also recently acquired the consulting firm Hastings Clements and Leach in the UK and with these acquisitions, will have over 1700 staff in New Zealand, the UK, Australia and Canada.
