Statement from John Goulter, Director TVNZ
TVNZ Director, Mr John Goulter, has unequivocally rejected allegations that he had been undermining former CEO Ian Fraser since his appointment to the Board.
During questioning at today's inquiry into TVNZ by the Finance and Expenditure Select Committee, Mr Fraser said that Mr Goulter's arrival on the Board had coincided with media stories criticising TVNZ management.
"Possibly Mr. Fraser was confusing questions from a new board member on matters of process and accountability, as criticism."
"There is not a shred of truth to Ian Fraser's allegation, and I absolutely reject it," he said.
"I will be making no further comment on this matter."
