SYDNEY, December 13 2005 – RSA Security has announced four key appointments to its Australia & New Zealand and Asia Pacific operations. This follows a global reorganisation of the company’s sales and support operations aimed at broadening the company’s customer base, expanding its portfolio of products and services, and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities across a wider range of industries.
“These appointments are part of an on-going strategy to strengthen RSA Security’s operations in all international markets,” said Richard Turner, Vice President of International Sales and Operations for EMEA and Asia Pacific. “Already our fastest growing business, we remain well-positioned for further growth in the Asia Pacific region and Australia/New Zealand in particular. The addition of talents like Steve Terry, Claire Larsen, Gordon Wood and Jonathan Summer allow us to invest more in key customer and partner relationships.”
“The recent acquisition of Cyota will give us an unmatched range of security solutions and services, opening up exciting new business opportunities. It is important for us to have the talent and the structure in place to fully capitalise on those opportunities,” he said.
