New General Manager of Newspaper Advertising Bureau
Robert Munro has been appointed General Manager of the Newspaper Advertising Bureau (NAB) in Auckland.
The NAB is a business unit of the Newspaper Publishers’ Association (NPA), marketing and promoting the association’s 23 newspapers as well as providing research, planning plus booking and billing facilities.
Announcing the appointment, NPA Chief Executive Lincoln Gould, said Robert Munro would bring very wide and valuable experience of the advertising industry to the management of the NAB.
“NAB provides a very efficient single point of contact and specialist service for national advertisers wishing to run campaigns across multiple mastheads. Robert is widely known and respected in the advertising industry and he will be well able to lead the NAB in its efforts to promote the newspaper industry in a highly competitive environment,” said Mr Gould.
Mr Munro replaces Sonya Crosby who left the NAB in October. He will start at the College Hill, offices of the NAB in mid January.
