Carter Holt Harvey Limited confirms receipt of the attached variation notice dated 1 November 2005 from Rank Group Investments Limited (Rank) pursuant to Rule 27(d) of the Takeovers Code, which states that the offer period is extended by 22 days.
Rank’s takeover offer will now close on Friday, 25 November 2005.
