InterCity Coachlines now Qualmark 'Endorsed'
InterCity Coachlines, the transportation brand of The InterCity Group (NZ) Ltd is now Qualmark® 'Endorsed', the highest
Qualmark classification for tourism transport businesses. InterCity Coachlines is New Zealand's largest and only
national coach network operating services between New Zealand's main centres and key tourist regions and attractions.
This now means that both the InterCity Groups (NZ) Ltd brands, InterCity Coachlines and Newmans Coach Lines are Qualmark
endorsed. Newmans Coach Lines provides premium sightseeing services between New Zealand's main centres and key tourist
regions and attractions and was endosed in May of this year.
Qualmark is New Zealand's official tourism mark of quality. All transportation, accommodation and tourism businesses
listed on the Qualmark website carry the Qualmark® logo which signifies their independent assessment as professional and
trustworthy - and that the consumer can buy with confidence.
"It is important to overseas visitors that our service has the stamp of approval from an independent rating
organisation, said Daniel Rode, Sales & Marketing Manager for the InterCity Group. "We are proud that Qualmark has now 'Endorsed' both brands of the InterCity
Group. This endorsement is Qualmarks highest rating for tourism transport products", continued Rode.

overseas, this highly credible endorsement is most important to our international and domestic business", said Rode.
Qualmark is a government/private sector partnership between Tourism New Zealand and the New Zealand Automobile
Association. Qualmark assessors are fully trained and qualified to undertake assessments. They have commercial
experience in transportation, hospitality, accommodation management and assessing.
InterCity Coachlines is New Zealand's largest and only national coach network operating modern, spacious,
air-conditioned buses with heaps of baggage room. All services have regular, scheduled comfort and refreshment stops.
Newmans Coach Lines also offer premium daily sightseeing trips to the must-see tourist attractions - Rotorua, Waitomo
