Hunter's Wines (NZ) Ltd is celebrating its 100th gold medal and no doubt the prize winner will be used to toast the accolade.

Hunter's Miru MiruT 2002 took the gold in the Liquorland Top 100 2005 International Wine Competition.

Considered the ultimate evaluation of wines available on the New Zealand market, this international wine show is in its twelfth year and is the most established of competitions in this country.

Since its release in 1995 it has received accolades around the world including the London International Wine Challenge, the Sunday Times Wine Club, London, The Air New Zealand Wine Awards, the Decanter World Wine Awards and twice at the Effervescents du Monde in France.

Such international success has created demand for Miru MiruT to be released on to the domestic scene. And now, Miru MiruT has a partner to try and live up to its deserved reputation. Miru MiruT Reserve 2001, the first release under this label is now on sale.

Hunter's Wines Managing Director, Jane Hunter says the 100th gold medal is pause for reflection as well as celebration.
