Bruce is recognised for his role as Chief Executive of ACP Media in New Zealand from 1998 to 2003 and, more recently, as Chief Executive of sports apparel manufacturer Canterbury International Limited

Bruce has had considerable experience as a public speaker, addressing corporate audiences throughout Australasia on improving profit and performance, leadership and change.

He joins fellow directors Robert Bryden and Brett Sutton (representing Todd Capital), Tony Hannon (I-CAP), Lilian Le Falher (Kuwait Finance House), John Maasland (independent), Rudolph Reinfrank and Clint Walker (Clarity Partners), Bob Smith (chief executive of Woosh Wireless) and chairman Rod Inglis (founder) on the Woosh Board.

Rod Inglis said two years on in the development of the company the Board now felt it appropriate to appoint a second independent director.

"Bruce brings valuable skills and experience to the Board and we are delighted he has accepted the role."

Bruce is also chairman of Noel Leeming Group. His appointment will be approved at the next Woosh shareholder meeting.
