A New Furry Face For Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools And Spa
A new mascot for Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa has been unveiled.
Bubbles – a cute blue soft toy – is to replace Tickedy Boo, a teddy bear, who used to be the pools’ official mascot.
“We will miss Tickedy Boo. He’s done a good job and is moving onto another mascot position which has come up offshore,” says Graeme Abbot, the pools’ General Manager.
“Bubbles will do a great job in his place. We chose him from a large pool of prospective mascots. His qualifications and previous experience are ideal for the position here.”
“Bubbles has a lot of the qualities, we at the thermal pools value. He is fun and effervescent but also enjoys relaxation and pampering,” says Graeme Abbot.
Graeme Abbot says Bubbles will be busy representing the pools in a number of roles and his picture will eventually be used on all HSTP signage.
“We are so pleased Bubbles is able to start his new job at the pools before the upcoming school holidays when he will get to meet hundreds of people. We know Bubbles will be especially popular with our visitors, charming them with his bubbly personality, as he has us,” concluded Graeme Abbot.
