Auckland Property Set To Knock iPod
Auckland rental property is set to knock iPod from its top spot as New Zealand’s most searched for item according to the latest figures from Trade Me.
The gap between the top two search items narrowed from 5000 to 3000 searches, making Apple’s fiendishly popular player more vulnerable. Property searches have surged since the launch of Trade Me Property two months ago.
The fastest mover of the last month is Play Station Portable (PSP) rocketed up from 18th to 4th place with 26,634 searches, making it September’s biggest mover. Not bad given it was only launched locally in August.
Heralding the return of spring, sunglasses and sports motorcycles have both entered the top 20. Playboy Clothing still ranks as the top fashion label, despite slipping to 5th place, while Roxy holds steady at number 6.
The full list of the top 20 search items for September is listed below.
The latest Neilsen//NetRatings figures show Trade Me had over 2 million unique NZ visitors in September. It has over 1.2 million New Zealand members and more than 500,000 listings.
