Today’s talks between Queenstown baggage handlers and Mt Cook Airlines were inconclusive. Union members will hold a meeting in Queenstown tomorrow.
The seven-day strike by Auckland groundstaff employed by Menzies Aviation, which began at midnight last night, continues.
The dispute at Southward Engineering also continues. Thirty workers have been suspended since September 9.
The Plastics Industry Multi-Employer Collective Agreement has been settled (see separate release).
Hundreds of Carter Holt Harvey workers will hold stop-work meetings in Auckland and Whangarei tomorrow (see earlier release).
