Bold equals BEST for Dow
Brand and design consultancy Dow Design has achieved its most impressive result yet at this year's Designers Institute of New Zealand BEST Awards, reinforcing its position as one of the country's leading design agencies.
Dow won two Highly Commended awards in the Graphic Packaging category for its redesigns of the Hawthorne & Heather toiletry range and Robert Harris Coffee brands, as well as being nominated for the Lift Plus energy drink branding. Dow also won Highly Commended in the Graphic Visual Communication section for its groundbreaking work on the Auckland New Theatre Initiative.
Principal Annie Dow says, "Our dedication and passion for the New Theatre Initiative has captured public attention and created a real buzz about the project. And Dow's radical image overhauls of the Hawthorne & Heather and Robert Harris brands have seen fantastic market-share advances for both companies.
"Our clients valued Dow's track record of clear strategic planning combined with a brave, exciting approach, and all came to us with one brief: that we push the envelope. We've certainly done this, and these awards are further proof our bold thinking wins the best results."
