GOLD STRUCK!
- First New Zealand Golden Ticket found in Ohope -
The dream of a lifetime came true recently for the first lucky WONKA Golden Ticket winner, leaving four Golden Tickets still to be won in New Zealand.
Rachael Bailey (26) an Air Discovery pilot from Ohope in the Bay of Plenty is the first Golden Ticket winner in New Zealand. The lucky 48g bar was purchased at Beach Haven dairy in Ohope, just over two weeks since the WONKA Golden Ticket competition officially launched in New Zealand.
Rachael is ecstatic after finding the Golden Ticket, saying she has never won a competition in her life.
"It's absolutely amazing to actually find a Golden Ticket. I'm still in a state of disbelief but I've hidden the ticket in a very secret location and have photocopied it lots of times just in case."
The much sought after WONKA Golden Tickets are hidden inside randomly-selected specially marked bars or blocks of new WONKA Whipple Scrumptious Caramel Delight - which have been specially created for the competition and are truly scrumdiddlyumptious!
The WONKA Golden Ticket promotion is being run by Nestlé Confectionery in conjunction with the September 8th film release of the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie, starring Johnny Depp.
All five WONKA Golden Ticket winners will receive a seven-day family trip (two adults and two children under twelve) to the UK (London & York) in April 2006, where they will have exciting adventures visiting the Nestlé chocolate factory.
Rachael is still deciding who she will take along with her on the trip.
