Tim Groser to Speak at Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce Breakfast

The Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that former Ambassador to the WTO, former Chair of the WTO Agriculture Negotiations, and current National Party list candidate Tim Groser has agreed to speak at the Chamber’s next Momentum breakfast on 30 August.

“The Chamber is delighted that Tim Groser, only recently back in New Zealand from his Geneva assignment, has agreed to make his debut political speech in Wellington at a Chamber function,” said Charles Finny, CEO of the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“Tim is a great speaker. I am sure that many Chamber members and contacts will want to attend this event. It is certain to be both informative and entertaining,” Charles Finny continued.

Since announcing his National Party candidature in May Tim Groser returned to Geneva and kept his silence while trying to keep the WTO agriculture negotiations on track. This will be Tim’s first opportunity to give his account and perspective on the political choices facing New Zealanders on 17 September.

Aside from Tim Groser the Chamber will be hosting Hon. Pete Hodgson to speak at lunch on 5 September. A range of functions for smaller parties in the run up to the election are also in preparation.
