Which websites attract mature Kiwis?

Which websites attract mature Kiwis?

Below is a ranking of the top sites for Kiwis aged 60+, for the week ending 24 July 2005, based on Nielsen//NetRatings Market Intelligence. The sites have been ranked by the proportion of their visitors identified as people over 60 years of age.

Given the interest in the voting intentions of this age group in the face of the upcoming general election, we decided to take a look at their online usage patterns. Just over 31% of Kiwis aged 60+ (215,000 people) are regular internet users, defined as having used the internet in the last four weeks. The number of Kiwis aged 60+ going online regularly has increased by 8% since the start of 2004, whereas growth in the number of regular internet users in other age groups (particularly those under 40) is mostly stable. With just over 2/3rds of Kiwis going online regularly, there continue to be opportunities to grow regular internet use for the 40+ age demographic.
