Sovereign Finance and Banking software, from Finzsoft Solutions Ltd has recently completed two major projects with two leaders in the New Zealand finance industry, further enhancing their image as the software supplier of choice for a variety of financial institutions.

The most recently completed project has enabled Wrightson Finance to re-launch successfully into the rural finance sector after an absence of 7 years.

Sovereign Finance and Banking Software has been developed by Finzsoft Solutions in Auckland. Their software supports most of the larger New Zealand non-bank finance institutions, and provides a wide range of lending and deposits functionality. It was this functionality and proven track record that made the decision to use Sovereign an easy one for Wrightson Finance to make.

General Manager Wrightson Finance, Ian Walsh, “to re-launch into the market we realised the need to use a new banking platform to support our current and future needs in rural based financing, including the capability for banking transaction product. It was vital that the chosen software was both reliable and had a good reputation in the market place. Developed in New Zealand the Sovereign software supports all our needs and more importantly the team at Finzsoft were able to implement the system on a very tight deadline. We are very pleased with the outcome”.

DTR (Thorn Rentals) share the Wrightson sentiment having worked with Finzsoft for 12 months to achieve their goal of a fully integrated retail loan system across their 29 stores throughout New Zealand.

Alan Shilton, Administration Manager for the DTR group was pleased with the finished product. “The team at Finzsoft were great to work with and they were able to meet all our needs which had to be compliant with the new CCCFA Act (the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003). And whilst their (Finzsoft) products have been traditionally used in the motor finance industry we found the usability, training and ongoing support for our project perfect for the retail loan industry”

Mr Shilton continues, “more importantly we incurred minimal fuss in the installation of the product and the transition was seamless to the end user, our customers”.
