AIM Proximity Welcomes Back Award-Winning Group

Wellington, 12 July 2005 – AIM Proximity, New Zealand's leading direct and interactive marketing agency, today announced the appointment of Tim Mooney as Group Account Director. Mr Mooney will be based in Auckland where he will run the Telecom New Zealand, Telecom Mobile and Xtra accounts for the agency’s Wellington office.
Darryn Melrose, Managing Director of AIM Proximity - Wellington, says Mr Mooney’s appointment marked a welcome return to the fold. He was Client Services Director for the agency from January 2000 to August 2002. “Tim is a highly talented direct marketer with an impressive track record who returns to us with fresh overseas experience,” says Mr Melrose. “During his last stint with AIM Proximity he grew clients’ direct marketing spend significantly and won an impressive clutch of awards. We’re expecting more of the same magic in his new role.”
Mr Mooney returns to AIM Proximity from Brisbane where he was Communications Director for Euro RSCG Worldwide in Australia.
