Roadlife Launches Heavy Weight Dealership
Former world heavy weight boxing champion Joe Frazier will be in Auckland on July the 6th to officially open Roadlife Trucks new Roscommon Road dealership in Manukau.
Frazier, renowned for knocking out Mohammad Ali, won the heavyweight gold medal at the 1964 Olympic Games and held the world heavyweight boxing crown from 1970 to 1973.
“We’re really excited” says dealership principal Scott Bliss. “The new dealership will offer our customers a level of service we weren’t able to offer at the old site in Penrose.”
“Having Joe Frazier at the opening seemed like an appropriate way to remind the truck industry that we are a real heavy weight contender, we’ve put our money where our mouth is and our only focus is to be the best,” says Bliss.
The new dealership has state-of-the-art workshop facilities boasting 14 service bays (10 of which are drive through), a truck wash bay suitable for steam cleaning and water blasting, separate drivers’ lounges and facilities and loan cars on request.
The new facility has been operational for just over a month and the feed back from customers has been very positive, says Scott.
Roadlife Trucks is Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand’s flagship truck retailer; in 2004 Scott Bliss and his team sold over 400 trucks into the New Zealand market.
A recent change in Mitsubishi truck branding to FUSO and a management re-structure to Mitsubishi FUSO Truck and Bus corporation has created a strong international platform for the future of the New Zealand’s second strongest truck brand.
