New President appointed.

New President appointed.
At the recent AGM, Alister Brown, Managing Director of Merck Sharpe & Dohme (NZ) Ltd was appointed President of the American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand for the year ahead. Alister told members that he is looking forward to taking up the role and will be joining AmCham’s Executive Director on the Annual APCAC Washington Doorknock in mid June.
Alister acknowledged the significant contribution made by outgoing President Michael Stanley, Chairman of Ernst & Young Ltd, during his three-year term and welcomed his on going support, as Michael is remaining on the Board.
Other Directors reappointed at the AGM were: Gregory Brown, Managing Director of 3M New Zealand Ltd Denham Shale, Director & Lawyer Mary Beth Robles, Managing Director of Colgate-Palmolive Ltd William Jacob, President of New Zealand Steel Caryll Shailer, Chief Executive Officer of Meat Industry Association of NZ (Inc) Eric Mahoney, Director of Mahoney Investments Tim Goodacre, Chief Executive of Zespri International Ltd
