New President appointed.
At the recent AGM, Alister Brown, Managing Director of Merck Sharpe & Dohme (NZ) Ltd was appointed President of the American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand for the year ahead. Alister
told members that he is looking forward to taking up the role and will be joining AmCham’s Executive Director on the
Annual APCAC Washington Doorknock in mid June.
Alister acknowledged the significant contribution made by outgoing President Michael Stanley, Chairman of Ernst & Young Ltd, during his three-year term and welcomed his on going support, as Michael is remaining on the Board.
