Many benefits attached to new Mitsubishi used car brand
A new used car brand, Diamond Class Cars, with many buyer benefits, is being introduced by Mitsubishi Motors to market a
range of New Zealand-new low mileage used cars.
Mainly ex-rental, corporate fleet and demonstrator cars, all will have been subject to a 100 point inspection and carry
a two year warranty with unlimited kilometres.
Other benefits Diamond Class car buyers will receive is a first aid kit, 500 Fly Buys points, and free roadside
assistance. This covers car unlocking, jump starting and towing and emergency accommodation if necessary.
A Diamond Class service card will identify owners as preferential customers, entitle them to a free car wash and vacuum
and double Fly Buys points when they have their car serviced. In addition, if their car is not ready on time following a
service, then there will be no charge.
"Diamond Class cars will be the premium low mileage used cars in New Zealand," Mitsubishi Motors general manager of
sales and marketing Peter Wilkins said.
"Only the very best cars will be accepted into the programme and owners will receive the same level of support and
assistance as new car buyers.
'There will be no used imports or other reworked cars. All the cars will have been sold by MMNZ as new cars and will be
fed back into the marketplace through our dealer only auctions to the Mitsubishi dealer network.
"Customers can be assured that when they buy a Diamond Class car they are buying a quality used car backed by a
comprehensive warranty and national dealer network," Mr Wilkins said.
