InterCity's "Extreme Saver" $10 Bus Ticket from Wellington to Napier

InterCity Coachlines has introduced yet another in its series of $10 bus fares on major inter city services. This one is between Wellington and Napier - for those who want to spend their money when they get there and not on getting there? But hurry as seats on each departure are limited!

There are two daily services in each direction between Wellington and Napier and points in between and visa versa. The Wellington morning departure is from the Railway station at 7.45 am, with a 10.00 am coffee stop in Palmerston North and arrival at the Napier Railway Station at 1.00 pm. The afternoon departure from Wellington is at 12.15pm with a coffee stop & coach transfer at Palmerston North, arriving into Napier at 5.35pm. The morning departure from Napier is from the Railway station at 9.15am, departing Palmerston North at 12.45pm after a 40 minute lunch stop and coach transfer. Arrival into Wellington is at 3pm. The afternoon departure from Napier is at 1.30 pm with a twenty minute tea stop in Palmerston North at 4.45 pm and arrival at the Wellington Railway Station at 6.50 pm. Other stops are made at points in between and as needed. Extra departures are added at peak periods. All services use spacious, modern air-conditioned coaches with reclining seats and panoramic windows.

The full schedule of stops is as follows and Wellington – Johnsonville – Porirua - Pukerua Bay - Paraparaumu - Waikanae - Otaki - Tatum Park – Levin - Shannon - Palmerston Nth - Ashhurst -
Woodville - Dannevirke - Matamau – Norsewood - Takapau - Waipukurau - Waipawa - Otane -Te Aute - Hastings - Clive – Napier and visa versa.

Passengers will need to book in advance to take advantage of the Extreme Saver ($10) fare. This can be done on www.intercitycoach.co.nz or at any InterCity agent nationwide. In addition to Extreme Saver fares, InterCity are also offering fares from $35 between Wellington and Napier and visa versa.

In addition, passengers using this Extreme Saver ($10) may link it with a similar fare currently available for the “Starlighter” service Wellington – Palmerston North - Auckland and ride all the way from Napier through Palmerston North to Auckland and visa versa for only $20!
