100% Sust!

100% Sust!

How often have you thought you’d like to make your business or home more eco-friendly, but where to start? This Tuesday 17th you’ll have the chance to find out and in the most unlikely place too. Wellington’s YHA is lifting its skirts to reveal its green bits with a walking tour of its recently opened new wing. Its sustainable building features include heat exchange units and grey water exchangers, and you can find out how affordable to install and energy efficient these systems really are.

“This is a unique opportunity for anyone in tourism and hospitality to check out their competition and see the inside organisation and environmental successes of one of their peers in the field,” says Prudence Stone, regional manager of the Sustainable Business Network and co-host for the event. “People in sustainable building also, because its this sort of infrastructure clients are asking for.”

Come to the YHA this Tuesday at the corner of Wakefield and Cambridge Terrace. The event starts at 3.30pm.
