11 May 2005

Pacific Blue to touchdown at Auckland Airport tomorrow

At 11.10pm tomorrow, Auckland Airport will welcome its newest airline when Pacific Blue makes its inaugural arrival from Brisbane.

"We look forward to welcoming our 29th international airline," airport chief executive officer Don Huse says, "Pacific Blue will bring its own unique style to Auckland Airport. We wish it well."

The airline will initially operate 12 flights a week to and from Auckland, serving Gold Coast and Brisbane airports.

"These services will add to existing trans-Tasman routes and provide even more choice for people wishing to fly between Auckland and Australia.

"We welcome Pacific Blue to the Auckland Airport community."
