Waikato Motorists Reap Benefits Of Futuristic New Gull
Site
As part of Gull Petroleum’s ongoing commitment to consumers the company is pleased to announce the futurist redevelopment of its site at Norton Rd, Hamilton.
Gull Petroleum is bringing European forecourt technology to Hamilton and Waikato motorists will reap the rewards with lower fuel prices.
Opening yesterday, Norton Road is Gull’s first drive thru site. The new technology being introduced is thought to be a first for New Zealand. It will feature self-service bowsers offering credit card and eftpos payment options and a giant LED price board that will be controlled from Gull head office.
Gull’s retail operations manager Ulrik Olsen says this type of technology is common in Europe where it has been embraced by motorists.
“The opening of Gull’s first drive thru site at Norton Rd is great news for Waikato motorists. The lower overheads associated with the site and the new technology we are introducing means we will be able to offer lower prices. It is going to be a dynamic site and we recommend that people keep a close eye on prices at this site.”
The Norton Rd site will no longer have its Woolworths Quick Stop Micro store but Mr Olsen has said the site has been a successful fuel retailer for a number of years and he is confident the competitive pricing will ensure it remains popular.
As New Zealand’s only independent fuel supplier Gull is committed to providing sharper prices, better quality fuel and more choice for New Zealand consumers.
Gull will continue to provide cheaper, smarter and more environmentally friendly options for New Zealand motorists.
