It’s BusinessTime For New Zealand!

IT’S BUSINESSTIME FOR NEW ZEALAND!

Business customers get certainty, value and service and with new Telecom plan

Telecom today launched a new monthly subscription-based access and calling plan called BusinessTime, offering small and medium-sized businesses certainty, value and service.

For a monthly subscription, the BusinessTime plan offers standard business line rental, service, and value with capped prices on calls from lines on the offer to National and Australia landlines and to Telecom Mobiles.

“Customers have told us they want simplicity and certainty in their communications services,” said Telecom General Manager, Wired, Rod Snodgrass. “In response to that customer feedback, we’ve made a fundamental change in how we provide our offers to the business market. The BusinessTime plans are designed in a subscription-like model to enable price certainty and better overall value.”

Capped Calling

For calls to National and Australia landlines, the most businesses will pay is 50c (excl GST) for calls up to 60 minutes. Calls are 15c (excl GST) per minute up to the cap and after the first 60 minutes.

For calls to Telecom mobiles, the most they’ll pay is $1 (excl GST) for calls up to 60 minutes. Calls are 35c (excl GST) per minute up to $1 cap and for every minute after the first 60. Other call rates also apply.

Customers will be eligible for the plan if they have all their direct dial calling and standard business line rental with Telecom.

“We know that the costs of calling can be an unpredictable and costly component of running any business,” said Snodgrass. “With Telecom BusinessTime, businesses can concentrate on doing what they do best, without worrying about the extra cost for every minute they are on the phone.”
