Fashion 'All Stars' Join Forces With Glassons

Six of New Zealand's leading fashion designers will come together for the first time in support of Glassons 2005 Breast Cancer Research Trust T-Shirt campaign.

The 'all star' team comprising of Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester, Zambesi, Huffer, Trelise Cooper and Tanya Carlson will lend their considerable talents to the creation of the 2005 T-Shirt designs, which go on sale nationwide through Glassons stores from February 1st.

Each T-Shirt will be sold for just $29.95 - with Glassons donating $10 from every sale to the Breast Cancer Research Trust (BCRT).

"The calibre of this year's designers is exceptional and we feel very privileged to have them working with us," says Glassons Group Managing Director, Cliff Kinraid. "And with such a unique opportunity to buy a garment from our nation's top talent we trust our customers will again support this very worthwhile cause."

The Glassons BCRT T-Shirt campaign is now entering its third year and last year raised an impressive $500,000. The funds have enabled the appointment of Dr Nicole McCarthy as the first Breast Cancer Research Trust fellow at the University of Auckland Medical School.

New Zealand has one of the world's highest rates of breast cancer with the disease affecting one in every twelve women and claiming more than 600 lives every year.
