Unique Lifestyle Blocks Offered in World Famous Setting
Just 60 million years after the world famous and unique Moeraki Boulders were formed, a few hundred metres along the beach six 4-hectare lifestyle blocks have been released for sale complete with stunning scenery in picturesque rural North Otago.
Marketed by Harcourts Dunedin Sales Consultants Robin Greer and Wayne Hill, the initial buyer response had been “very encouraging” from the lower and central South Island as well as upper North Island.
Mr Greer said while four of the ‘Coastal Sanctuary’ lifestyle blocks were directly on the waterfront, all enjoyed great sun, access to several kilometres of unbroken beach, and “fabulous coastal views” including across the bay to the quaint historic Moeraki village.
The blocks were within an hour’s drive North of Dunedin and 20 minutes stroll along a walkway to the Moeraki fishing village which enjoyed international attention last year when actress Gwyneth Paltrow visited while filming a movie in Dunedin.
Mr Greer described Moeraki as a very special part of rural New Zealand with the blocks ideal for permanent or holiday homes including horticultural through to a hobby lifestyles. He added that the rolling farmland coastal setting was close to a range of wildlife including yellow-eyed penguins, little blue penguins, fur seals, and occasional Hector's dolphins.
The ‘Coastal Sanctuary’ blocks are being offered for sale by Tender which closes 4pm Friday 26 November 2004.
